Medical Secretary
The Medical Secretary works under the direct supervision of the Director of Health Services. The Medical Secretary assists in organizing and communicating inter and intra-departmentally to achieve optimum support. These duties are supportive to the direct nursing care of the individuals.
The Medical Secretary is responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties relating to the updating and organizing of information in the nursing department and interacting with individuals, families, and staff to ensure smooth and efficient heath care operations.
This position requires the proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. The ideal candidate for this role must embody several key qualities:

Previous clerical experience in a healthcare setting required; knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Salary range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour.
