New Generation Wellness is Hiring a Manufacturing Technician Level 1 (B) Near Colorado, CO

Position Summary

The Compounder is responsible for setting up and operating equipment to mix or blend specified raw materials to be used in dietary supplement products.

Essential Functions and Basic Duties:

  • Reads, understands, and follows batch record.
  • Prepares and mixes bulk powder materials in strict accordance with company formulation, quality standards, and production schedules under supervision.
  • Discharges bulk material into containers.
  • Operates, assembles/dis-assembles, and cleans all primary and auxiliary equipment, and associated rooms.
  • Completes performed by portion of batch and other paperwork as needed, with thorough understanding.
  • Performs all ‘performed by’ tasks related to the following equipment in compliance with cGMPs, SOPs, and Batch Records:
    • Oscillator
    • Rota Cone Blender
    • PK V Blender (10, 20, & 30)
    • Smico Sifter
  • Ensures room has been released by Quality Assurance as indicated on the Equipment Use / Maintenance Cleaning Log. Makes appropriate entries into log.
  • Works with Supervisors, Leads, and trainers to verify all procedures have been followed.
  • Performs all duties according to written Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’s), 21 CFR Part 111.
  • Maintains a clean, neat work area, removing trash and sweeping as necessary.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Education / Certifications:

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Required Knowledge:

  • Good organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Experience Required:

  • 0 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills / Abilities:

  • Able to follow standard operation procedures (GMP’s, SOP’s and Batch Records).
  • Able to follow directions and communicate information (written and verbal).
  • Able to use basic math calculations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide); operate a calculator.
  • Able to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
  • Works and partners with others in a positive team environment.
