New Eye Vision Buffalo is Hiring an Optician Near Buffalo, NY

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable New York State Licensed Optician to join our team. As an Optician, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their eyewear needs, ensuring accurate prescriptions, and providing exceptional customer service. If you have a passion for eye care and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

· Responsibilities: - Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and individual needs - Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes and facial features to ensure proper fit and comfort of eyewear

· Educate customers on lens options, frames, and lens enhancements to help them make informed decisions

· Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to ensure optimal fit and function

· Maintain inventory of eyewear frames, lenses, and contact lenses

· Process orders for eyewear and contact lenses, including verifying insurance coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations

· Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
