Shop Foreperson - What Will You Do?

• Receive repair requests and create work orders.
• Perform equipment repair diagnostics, refer to work order history, and maintain total cost of the life cycle of equipment based on repair history.
• Engage subcontractors as needed.
• Ensure that vehicles are regularly maintained and that unscheduled maintenance issues are promptly addressed.
• Implement vehicle cleaning, maintenance and inspection policies.
• Train staff and monitor production and performance.
• Maintain contact with area safety manager.
• Additional duties as necessary.
• Learn the ins and outs of roadway construction and paving. Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?
• 5 years of general experience in fleet equipment maintenance required, with a minimum of 1-2 years of managerial experience.
• Dealership level training on electrical diagnostics and / or technical / trade school degree preferred.
• Caterpillar Engine Diagnostic Tools experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license (Class A or B CDL preferred) and meets NESL’s driving standards.
• Positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn.
