Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner - Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage options - Take accurate food and drink orders from customers - Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals - Serve food and beverages to customers in a prompt and efficient manner - Check on customers throughout their dining experience to ensure satisfaction - Clear tables and clean dining area as needed - Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using the POS system - Collaborate with other restaurant staff to provide exceptional customer service - Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for the next guests - Adhere to all food safety and handling procedures Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting is preferred - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen procedures is a plus - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner - Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment - Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with colleagues - Basic math skills for accurate order taking and cash handling - Sales-oriented mindset to upsell menu items and promote specials Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
