Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Construction Landscaper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscaping and a strong work ethic. As a Construction Landscaper, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, installation, and maintenance of outdoor spaces, including gardens, patios, and walkways. You will work closely with our team to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

· Project Execution: Assist in executing landscape construction projects from start to finish, including site preparation, planting, and hardscaping.

· Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment and tools, such as skid-steer loaders, excavators, chainsaws, and hand tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

· Hardscaping: Install and construct hardscape features, such as retaining walls, pathways, and outdoor structures, using materials like stone, and brick.

· Planting and Maintenance: Assist in planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation according to design plans. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including pruning, mulching, fertilizing, and watering.

· Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Report any safety hazards or concerns to the supervisor immediately.

· Quality Assurance: Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards and meets client specifications. Pay attention to detail and address any issues or discrepancies promptly.

· Team Collaboration: Work with other team members, including landscape designers, and fellow landscapers, to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications:

· Experience: Prior experience in landscaping or related field preferred. Experience with landscape construction techniques, equipment operation, and plant care is desirable.

· Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, operating machinery, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

· Knowledge: Basic knowledge of plant identification, soil types, and landscaping principles. Familiarity with hardscaping techniques is advantageous.

· Communication: Good communication skills to follow instructions, collaborate with team members, and interact with clients professionally.

· Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required. Experience towing trailers or operating commercial vehicles is a plus.

· Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications, such as landscaping certifications or pesticide applicator licenses, is beneficial but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
