We are looking for experienced full-time Counselors with a passion for helping people at our adult outpatient day treatment facility in Milford, MA. 

 New England Medical Group is committed to providing a happy and healthy work environment for its’ employees. We provide animal assisted therapy to the clients we support. We provide a Therapeutic Support Framework with layers of support at all our Day Treatment programs.

Position Overview:Oversee patient care and services for identified case load, including group and individual services, family engagement, coordination of treatment, referral and collateral contacts, treatment planning, case management and conducting clinical measurements/assessments to ensure the patient enjoys a cohesive treatment experience where all are working together toward the same goal. Services and caseload may vary based on particular need and job level. 

 Minimum Qualifications for Three Levels are the Following:

  1. Counselor I: Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or counseling fields and/or LADC II or equivalent specialty. Salary $54,000 to $60,000 DOE
  2. Counselor II: Master’s degree in related field with at least 1 year of direct clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare or substance abuse setting OR a Bachelor’s degree and initial clinical licensure of certification, with 5 or ore years serving as an individual counselor within the related field. Salary $59,000 to $65,000 DOE
  3. Counselor III: Master’s degree with Independent Licensure (LADC 1, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or related. At least 3 years of direct clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare or substance abuse setting $64,000 to $70,000 DOE
