New England Home the Deaf is Hiring a Dietary Aide Near Danvers, MA
- Assist cooking staff with food preparation.
- Set tables and serve meals to residents.
- Rinse, and scrape dishes immediately after use.
- Use 3-step dishwashing procedures as posted.
- Stack dishes/cups/glasses in dishwasher.
- Put away dishes.
- Wipe off all stainless-steel surfaces.
- Sweep dish room and wet mop entire kitchen.
- Deposit dishcloth and aprons in laundry room basket.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Willingness to learn.
- Clear understanding of sanitary codes.
- Knowledge of safety procedures.
- Knowledge of American Sign Language and Deaf culture a plus. Staff must participate in free, weekly ASL classes are on-site.
