New England Glass Co. has a need to fill a full-time position for a commercial door hardware installer. We are looking to train the right person who possesses problem solving skills, good mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and is self-motivated to work with our team. Must be available to work Monday – Friday, 7AM to 3:30PM. Responsibilities will primarily include installing door hardware components, reading and comprehending installation instructions, precise layout of hardware components and using power tools to cut, drill and modify aluminum as a part of fabrication and hardware installation. You will also be assisting the fabrication department with various fabrication tasks.
Steel-toed boots, some basic hand tools and reliable transportation required, along with a good attitude, and the ability to do some heavy lifting (70 lbs).
OSHA certification and construction experience a plus, but not required.
