We are looking for engaging people, excited to chat with strangers, and who take pride leaving grocery stores better than when they arrived! New England Coffee has been around for over 100 years, and we take our business in the New England Market seriously. As Area Account Manager, you will be the face of our iconic brand. You are the boots on the ground to ensure our presence dominates New England grocery retailers.
Specific job functions include:
Sales execution: Partners with grocery retailers, district managers, and field broker reps to ensure proper inventory is in stores, POGs are being executed, all while looking to increase promotions by upselling displays.
Retailer management: Works with grocery managers and district managers to increase volume velocities. Develops strong retail relationships by providing representatives the support and tools they need to be successful. This includes product knowledge, promotional support, and points of sale.
Account merchandising: Regularly visits active accounts ensuring our product is in stock, in place, and selling. Works with store managers to get the best placement possible and get secondary locations. Utilize point of sale (POS) materials wherever possible.
Account management: Manages store inventory, placement, shelf pricing and reorders. Works with store managers and distributor sales representatives to keep product in stock, avoid out of stock issues, implement promotions, and maximize sales during promotional periods.
