NEO currently has 2 positions available on our team for Direct Support Professionals, in Manchester and Salem NH. These positions can be Part or Full-time. The physical demands required for this position includes occasional sitting/standing for 2-4 hours at a time working on job sites, in homes, facilities and in the community. Job Summary: Assist and support clients within vocational, residential and community settings. Work within a team implementing program directives, providing on-site support services to assist clients achieve goals. Work directly with clients providing job retention and personal life management assistance. We accomplish these services and coaches perform no heavy lifting or bathroom assistance for our participants. Participate in periodic company paid human service directed trainings to improve caregiving or coaching services, increase caregiving knowledge while advancing employees in their human service career.
Qualifications: Working knowledge of Internet & MS Excel preferred for communication and case note writing. Use of a personal vehicle and proper insurance is required with monthly mileage reimbursement provided.
Experience working directly with disabilities preferred but NEO will invest in training applicants with professional potential.
Travel: Positions performed in Manchester & Salem, use of personal vehicle required.
Salary: Salary is based upon experience and monthly Mileage Reimbursement is provided.

Education: High School Diploma/Equivalency required, Associates Degree in Human Services or related experience preferred
Important considerations: Writing Skills and Microsoft Office skills required for writing weekly case notes for all clients. Mileage reimbursement paid monthly and is commensurate with case requirements. Be advised, New Employment Options is required and follows strict State & Federal regulations requiring TB Testing, Criminal & DOT Background checks for all applicants.
