Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple projects within our organization. Your role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring project success, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and Agile project management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to successfully deliver projects on time and within budget
- Develop and implement project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders
- Apply Lean Six Sigma principles to identify process inefficiencies and implement improvement initiatives
- Utilize SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) methodologies to drive project execution and delivery
- Ensure compliance with project management standards, policies, and procedures
- Track project metrics and provide regular status updates to senior management
Experience:
- Proven experience in program or project management roles
- Strong knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices
- Experience with project engineering and utilizing Project Server software
- Proficiency in using collaboration tools such as Confluence for documentation and communication purposes
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage conflicts, and drive consensus among stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
- Previous experience in a lean manufacturing environment is preferred
