Brief Job Description

The Club at Mediterra, a multiple award-winning private club located in Naples, Florida has an opening for a full-time Bartender to join our dynamic team. 

The position requires a highly motivated individual with exceptional communication skills, superior internal and external customer service relationships, and the ability to work in a high-performance team setting. Our Bartenders are team players who work effectively within a team environment to support and maintain a level of excellence in food and beverage service for the members and guests.

Bartenders are responsible for providing libations and offering customized recommendations.

Our Beverage and Bar Operation

• Annual beverage sales – $1.8 million
• Wine cellar with over 650 wine labels and 4,500 bottles of wine 
• Specific beverage and signature cocktail programs at separate campuses to include the Main Golf Club, Sports Club and special events

The Person We Are Looking For

• Leads by example with professional presence and enthusiasm
• Displays knowledgeable bar presence with positive Member and Guest interaction
• Involvement in creating craft beverage offerings specific to our various dining outlets
• Displays service skills, including being knowledgeable about products and menus 
• Ability to multitask and remain organized during a busy period 
• Enjoys working with others, develop and maintain positive working relationships, and support the team to reach common goals
• Adheres to all food safety, quality regulations, and standards

What We Would Like You To Have

• A minimum of one-year bar experience in the Hospitality industry at a highly respected private club or “four-star” hotel/resort
• The ability to handle a fast-paced, high-end food and beverage environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Appropriate personal presence with a desire and ability to interact effectively with members, guests, and staff
• The willingness, flexibility, and availability to work extended hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• OSHA Requirements: Ability to lift, and push upwards of 35 pounds regularly; ability to stand for extended periods of time; ability to tolerate all seasonal weather conditions with indoor and outdoor activity
