New Beginnings Behavior Intervention Services is Hiring a Behavior Consultant Near Michigan, IN

About us

New Beginnings BIS is a Medicaid waiver provider through Indiana's Home and Community Services Waiver. We are hiring independent contractors to provide Behavior Management services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are professional, supportive, collaborative and our goal is to Provide Behavior Management Services to Individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We are currently looking for Behavior Consultants in the Northern and Eastern Indianapolis Regions.

Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in their homes and in the community
- Conduct data collection and analysis to assess progress and effectiveness of interventions
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as special education teachers, OTs, SLPs, and ABA providers, to develop individualized plans
- Implement evidence-based strategies and interventions to address specific needs and goals
- Monitor and adjust intervention plans based on ongoing assessment and feedback
- Provide training and guidance to parents, caregivers, and other support staff

-Adhere to all DDRS guidelines and the 460 IAC Section 6 in delivery of services.

Experience:
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, special education, ABA, HSPP, Counseling etc.)
- Experience working with children or adults with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques and strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

-Experience with reading, conducting, and/or writing Functional Behavior Assessments and Behavior Support Plans

We are currently looking for Behavior Consultants available to have clients in Michigan City and Plymouth and anywhere in between.

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
