Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. As a Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. Your role will involve planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, providing individualized attention to each child, and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational goals
- Create a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior and encourages active participation
- Provide individualized attention to each child, addressing their unique needs and interests
- Foster children's social skills through group activities, playtime, and interactive learning experiences
- Assess children's progress regularly and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to ensure a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's development, progress, and any concerns that may arise
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving, infant care, special education, or related fields is preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices
- Knowledge of child development milestones and appropriate teaching strategies
- First Aid/CPR certification is a plus
