The Histotechnologist supports the mission, goals and strategic plan of Nevada Donor Network, Inc. (NDN) through participation in all aspects of histology operations including patient test management, test performance and evaluation, results analysis and reporting, quality control, and quality assurance under the general supervision of the Histotechnologist Supervisor/Manager of Clinical Laboratories.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or university) in science or related field. Experience: One (1) year full-time of relevant experience.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Knowledge of relevant medical terminology is preferred. Experience with database applications preferred.
Certificates & Licenses: Nevada Histotechnologist License required; Certified Histotechnologist HTL (ASCP) certification required.
Other Requirements: Meets current state, federal and other regulatory agency (College of American Pathologist (CAP)) educational/experience requirements. Required to have a personal cell phone. Occasionally required to travel by personal auto to meet all the duties and responsibilities of the position.
