NeuroPath Behavioral Healthcare has immediate openings for Part-time Licensed Therapists throughout the state of New Jersey to provide in-home intensive in-community weekly therapeutic services for Children with Developmental disabilities and intellectual challenges!

We are looking for the best talent to provide in-home intensive in-community therapeutic services to youth throughout the state of New Jersey. NeuroPath Behavioral Healthcare (NPBHC) is currently hiring dedicated and compassionate therapists to join our team! If you are passionate about helping others and interested in becoming one of our valued workers.
*Key Responsibilities*:
  • Providing individual in-home therapy sessions and group therapy sessions in our outpatient center, performing bio-psycho-social assessments, Etc.
  • Provide coping and social skills, anger management, and reduce risk behaviors such as SIB or physical aggression.
  • Work to improve youth and caretaker decision-making skills to manage in-home behavioral challenges.
  • Collaborate effectively and consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and/or professionals from other disciplines who also work to support the youth and family.
  • Submit all required documentation and paperwork within designated time frames (intake, treatment plan, dap notes, etc.
  • Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory weekly paperwork
  • Must be able to complete or willing to train for Bio-Psycho-Social assessments.
*Requirements:*
  • Must have a master’s degree or completing the last year of MA in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields such as LSW, LAC, LFT
  • Must have LAC, LSW, MFT, (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LPCC) or related professional licensure
  • Must have experience with Clinical Documentation (DAP or SOAP formats) 
  • Has Clinical Mental Health Training
  • Has some training or willing to complete Crisis Intervention Training
  • Has post-internship field experience working with youth with disabilities with clinical experience
  • Has experience with creating treatment planning, treatment goals setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
  • Has experience in various counseling approaches: CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and Trauma Response
  • Knows how to use the DSM-V for Assessments and Diagnosis
  • Must be available for a minimum 5-10 hours per week during after-school hours of 4-7 pm. Weekend flexibility is a plus. 
  • Must have experience providing positive behavior support.
  • Must have prior experience working with children ages 3-20 and children with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) a plus.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a registered vehicle.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, inclusive of fingerprinting.
  • Must submit resume plus copies of master’s degree, with a copy of NJ or Certification or License.
Note: State Reciprocity is considered but the candidate needs to be no more than 25-30 minutes commute to the designated service areas. The license must be registered with the NJ Marriage & Family Therapy Board (i.e., PA & NJ).
Compensation:
$40 - 55 per hour
Licensed Social Worker- LSW
Licensed Associate Counselor-LAC
Licensed Family Therapist- LFT
