Job Summary

Job Summary

At Neuro Rehab of Dallas, our interdisciplinary team serves individuals in the community who are challenged with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s, MS, Stroke, FND, Post-Concussion Syndrome, Tremors, and a variety of other disorders. Our therapy team has a strong passion for neuro rehab, with several team members currently holding or pursuing their NCS certification, as well as additional certifications including PWR! and LSVT BIG. We believe in a function-based, hands-on approach to therapy, working to restore the client's ability to perform their personal care and daily activities. We also perform driving assessments (DORA - Driving Off-Road Assessment), where we assess the skills that are required for driving.

Our interdisciplinary rehab team, which is an entity within Neurology Consultants of Dallas (NCD), consists of PTs, OTs, and Speech Therapists. This allows for a direct and collaborative approach to patient care. Along with the traditional therapy services, our patients also have access to Behavioral Health services, Neuroimaging, a specialized pharmacy, Neuro testing and sleep studies, as well as other Neuro-based treatments and research opportunities. We also feature a Neuro Dance program, where the art of ballet and therapeutic movements are beautifully intertwined. The goal of NCD and the rehab department is to further develop a wellness program for our patients, including classes such as boxing, Tai Chi, a PWR! circuit class, cycling, yoga, art journaling, and more!

At NRD, we emphasize patient and staff safety, and always strive to provide the highest quality of care. This is reflected in our conservative daily caseload per therapist. We encourage personal and team growth, which is fostered through monthly activities including Journal Clubs, “Skills Sessions”, and fun team building activities. We are currently looking for a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team; if you think you'd be a great fit, we'd love the opportunity to discuss more with you!
