Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patients. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients as they arrive at the office
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or in a similar customer service role preferred
- Proficient in using various computer software programs, including Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, or similar dental/medical scheduling systems
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Knowledge of phone systems and office equipment
