```Duties```
- Perform electroencephalogram (EEG) tests on patients to record electrical activity of the brain
- Prepare patients for EEG procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort
- Apply electrodes to specific areas of the patient's scalp according to established guidelines
- Monitor patients during EEG tests to ensure accurate and reliable data collection
- Recognize and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during the procedure
- Document and maintain detailed records of EEG test results for analysis and interpretation by physicians
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited EEG technician program preferred
- Certification as an EEG technician (R. EEG T.) strongly preferred
- Proficient in performing vital signs measurements and interpreting results
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation techniques and equipment used in EEG procedures
- Ability to operate computerized EEG equipment and software for data collection and analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately document test results
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Note: Experience with CT scans is a plus, but not required for this position.
