ROLE DESCRIPTION : As the Supply Chain / Inventory Control Supervisor, you will oversee and direct the activities of the supply chain team.

Your role will be pivotal in managing our inventory and supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency, minimizing shortages, and maintaining optimal stock levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Supervise and oversee the performance of supply chain coordinators, ensuring they meet their basic responsibilities
  • Educate, train, and mentor the supply chain and inventory coordinators to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Oversee inventory control for finished goods across two of our modalities, implementing strategies to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Review sales demands regularly to minimize the risk of inventory shortages and plan inventory accordingly
  • Execute quarterly physical inventory counts in each warehouse, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Collaborate with the order processing team to discuss and reconcile any inventory discrepancies
  • Run and analyze monthly aged inventory reports, providing solutions to deplete aged stock effectively
  • This position operates in a professional office environment and requires travel to various locations, including warehouses and other facilities as needed.

The role also involves interaction with advanced technical equipment and adherence to safety standards

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • BA / BS in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred
  • Strong background in Sales Processing and / or Customer Service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze data from various sources, providing informed recommendations to management
  • Experience in GPO / IDN / Government contracts is preferred

COMPUTER & ANALYTICAL SKILLS

  • Experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce
  • Experience with ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint), with advanced skills in MS Excel (Forms, Charts, V-Lookups, Pivot Tables)
  • Comfortable with technology, including presenting via laptop, tablet, or web
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, logical, and methodical nature
  • Willing to adapt to change and able to multi-task
  • Ability to work with a variety of colleagues at varying levels of authority
  • Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines
  • Well-developed data analysis skills
  • Must be detail oriented and a problem-solver

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to occasionally lift / move up to 25 pounds
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and use of hands and arms
  • Ability to sit or drive for long periods during travel
  • Interaction with x-ray devices, adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Tolerance for occasionally loud work environments
