TMS Technician/Treater- Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation- We are looking for the right team members that want to go beyond a Medical Assistant, CNA, or Behavioral Health Technician. This is a great position for a PRE-MED STUDENT, Psychology Major, or Nursing Student. We are looking for an individual who is empathetic, supportive, and patient focus who would like to be trained as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulations (TMS) Technician or who is already trained. We provide on the job training for our TMS Treaters and we utilize the most advanced TMS machines in the world.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer TMS treatments according to our physicians specific protocols. Set up the TMS machine and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions and document the daily treatments in our EMR.
• Ensure the patients patients comfort and treatment accuracy.
• Provide excellent patient care and treat patients with compassion while developing trust and rapport. Provide support, reflective listening, and compassion to patients struggling with depression anxiety, PTSD and other mental health issues.
• Be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues with patient comfort, coil contact, and TMS system setup throughout treatment.
• Administer our different psychiatric rating scales and counsel patients on completion of scales.
• Record session notes and schedule patient visits using EMR and medical scheduling software.
• Work alongside the team with other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Experience:

• At least one year of experience working in a medical office and /or mental health is preferred.
• Successful completion of TMS Training and Certification that is done during initial training period.
• You will also be trained in other treatments as well
• Experience working with patients who are suffering from depression and mental health issues is preferred. Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor, and communicate well with patients in a mental health setting required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
