Extremely busy, Multi-Specialty Practice looking for a Billing Support Specialist with a main focal point on Anesthesia Billing. Candidate must be self-motivated, work well independently, as well as with a team. EMR and Collection experience preferred. Previous experience with Athena would be helpful. Previous billing experience is must. Positive attitude a must.

Job details include, but not limited to...

• Resolve denied or rejected claims from collector queue, reports, and correspondence
• Compose and submit appeals
• Follow up with insurance companies and ensure claims are paid and processed per contracted agreements.
• Patient Account Coordination
• Incoming patient billing calls
• Outgoing collection calls
• Working closely with patients to organize payment plans
• Working with collection companies
