Job Title: Superintendent (Traveling)

Summary:

Directly responsible for overseeing the construction effort on roadway, highway, and heavy construction projects to ensure that all work is being constructed in accordance with design, budget, schedule, and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Operations Manager for effective work planning.
• Manage onsite construction and coordinate with Foremen.
• Provide technical guidance and ensure quality control.
• Supervise crew and resource allocation.
• Report project status to Operations Manager daily.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure contract compliance.
• Ensure crew productivity and safety compliance.
• Review project documents and contracts for adherence to standards.
• Assist in resolving construction issues.
• Uphold safety policies and conduct safety meetings.
• Liaise with Owner's representatives and inspectors.
• Assist in monthly estimate preparation.
• Compile accident reports and submit paperwork.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5 years supervisory experience in construction.
• Familiarity with construction equipment and methods.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work outdoors and travel.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass screenings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
