Job Description:
The SME System Administrator (Lead), identified as key personnel under Task Area 5, plays an essential role in the management of EOIR's enterprise-wide infrastructure. This lead position is responsible for ensuring the stable and efficient operation of server management, desktop management, and cloud-based services, which are critical for the day-to-day activities of EOIR. As a system lead, the SME System Administrator is at the forefront of making certain that all platform services are performing optimally, without any disruptions that could potentially impact EOIR users.
Note: Position is contingent on contract award.
Requirements:
•Must be a U.S. citizen.•Must have and maintain an active Public Trust Security Clearance.•This position is onsite.Qualifications and Experience:
•Demonstrated ability in administering enterprise-wide systems, including server, desktop, and cloud-based services.•Proficiency in managing IT infrastructure and implementing change management protocols.•Strong analytical skills to assess the technology environment and propose effective enhancements.•Exceptional leadership capabilities with the ability to oversee critical enterprise services.•High-level communication skills to provide clear and concise reports and updates to key stakeholders.Responsibilities:
•Supervise and ensure the smooth operation of EOIR's server management, desktop management, and cloud-based services.•Uphold and maintain the health of the IT infrastructure across the entire EOIR enterprise.•Proactively manage and follow the established change management processes to prevent service outages.•Analyze the current infrastructure setup and recommend strategic improvements to enhance system resilience and performance.•Deliver systematic project reports as per schedule or on-demand basis to the Government Task Managers (GTMs).•Facilitate continued operations and minimize impacts during transitional phases of contract management
