We are looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.Responsibilities:Assist with accounting for all elements of the quarterly and annual income taxesPrepare tax account reconciliationsEnsure SOX compliance through documentation and timely performance of controlsPerform or review other financial analyses with respect to state and local taxes, such as reconciling current vs. deferred, account roll forwards, and cash taxes projections.Implement changes based on new or changed federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations to assess the effect on current tax accounting policies and procedures and to develop appropriate recommendationsCreate models and analysis for state and local tax audits and appeals and recommend actions to be takenPrepare and review technical memos and ensure documentationAssist with the annual tax compliance processOther duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance3-5 years of tax experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP accounting and tax accounting conceptsStrong accounting, analytical, and research skillsExcellent written and oral communication skills#J-18808-Ljbffr
