NetGain Technologies is Hiring a Cyber Security Analyst Near Little Rock, AR

Job Description:

The Security Analyst is a very high-profile position with the primary responsibilities of providing security services to NetGain Technologies clients and internal resources.

The position requires the use of excellent coordination, attention to detail and communication skills. The Security Analyst is responsible for:

  • Monitor computer networks for security issues
  • Investigate security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents
  • Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure
  • Document security breaches and assess the damage they cause
  • Work with the security team to perform tests and uncover network vulnerabilities
  • Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard
  • Stay current on IT security trends and news
  • Develop company-wide best practices for IT security
  • Performing audit assistance

This role reports to the Director of Security Services.

Core Requirements:

  • Current SSCP Certification or equivalent
  • No less than 3 years of experience in IT Security
  • Experience in information security or related field
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud and Microsoft’s windows threat protection landscape
  • Good understanding of firewalls, SIEM, antivirus, and IDPS concepts
  • Experience in vulnerability management tools and process with the ability to identify business impact and deliver resolution
  • Strong understanding of network administration protocols required
  • Familiarity with NIST and security frameworks preferred
  • Experience with encryption types and protocols preferred
  • Experience with third-party vendor management requirements preferred
  • Experience with computer network penetration testing and techniques a plus
