Role: Citrix and Azure Virtual Desktop Architect
Location: Houston, Texas - Onsite only
Employment Type: 4 Months Contract to Hire
Responsibilities:
Solution Design: Architect end-to-end virtual desktop solutions by analysing business requirements, assessing existing infrastructure, and designing scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.
Citrix Integration: Design and integrate Citrix products, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Client, and Citrix Cloud, with Azure virtual desktop services to provide a comprehensive and cohesive virtual desktop solution.
Requirements:
Eexperience as a Citrix Architect or similar role, designing and implementing virtual desktop solutions using Citrix technologies.
Strong knowledge of Azure virtual desktop services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and virtual networks.
Proficiency in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Client, and Citrix Cloud.
Experience in network design, including connectivity options, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers.
Familiarity with identity and access management concepts, including Azure Active Directory, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls.
Understanding of performance optimization techniques, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting methodologies.
Knowledge of security best practices, data encryption, access controls, and compliance requirements.
Experience in designing high availability and disaster recovery solutions for virtual desktop environments.
Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Certifications in Citrix and Azure technologies are a plus.
