Job DescriptionPosition: West Counselor -Addiction Outpatient Services Job Type/Hours: FT Exempt, 40 hrs. week, Schedule is based on the program and client needs. Location: 5501 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia PA 19139 Summary of Position:Provide direct individual, group, and family therapy to clients, maintain a caseload of up to 35 clients, conduct client screening, evaluations and intake procedures under supervision, Complete Psychosocial History, Medical History, and Psychosocial Evaluation under supervision, Complete treatment plans, Document client progress and makes recommendations regarding discharge and aftercare planning. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, or a related field preferred
Qualifications must adhere to DDAP Chapter 704.
Bilingual is a plus!
Must have intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Word and Excel experience
Adult and Pediatric CPR Certification Required
PA Child Abuse Clearance required
PA Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training Required
FBI Clearance required
PA Criminal Clearance required
Health Assessment required
TB Test required
