Line Operator - Full Time, 2nd Shift

Seeking a motivatedLine Operatorto join our team. Responsible for maintaining, preparing, and operating production machines.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • Sunday-Saturday 6-day work week 1pm to 9pm with opportunities for overtime.
  • Starting hourly pay range of $20.16; final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
  • Yearly reviews and raises.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Operates, monitors, and adjusts scales, meters, hoists, applicators, machines, and processing equipment.
  • Loading, unloading, and processing ingredients as prescribed by the Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Prepares equipment for next shift and product runs including set ups, tear downs, and changeovers.
  • Maintains control charts including documenting, interpreting, verifying, and printing information.
  • Communicates with Supervisors, Line Leads, and other Operators on quality and production of material.
  • Conducts conveyor line checks for foreign material and product checks for quality.
  • Supports breaks for other Operators.
  • Performs or assists Maintenance with minor repairs or adjustments to machinery and equipment.
  • Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
  • Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts,required.
  • High School Diploma/GED,preferred.

SKILLS:

  • 1-6 months of previous food manufacturing and/or Machine Operator experience.
  • Ability to do heavy lifting in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to do basic math and use calculators.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
  • Speak, write, and understand English; Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.
