Production Team Lead - 2nd Shift

• 2nd Shift: Sunday- Saturday 6-day work week.
• Starting hourly pay range of $24.17, plus shift differential.

• Monitors, assists, trains, and maintains crewing level of employees.
• Monitors, starts, adjusts, and operates production machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Suggests changes in the working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency.
• Oversees production operations, monitors safety of employees, and inspects product to verify conformance to specifications.
• Coordinates with other Leads regarding personnel, quality, changeovers, and daily activities.
• Maintains process control paperwork including weight and batch control and time and yield efficiencies.
• Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed and the highest standards for quality, safety, and compliance are promoted.
• Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).

• Ability to work overtime, irregular hours, or rotating shifts, required.
• 1 year of leadership experience in a food manufacturing setting, preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED, preferred.

• Previous manufacturing, Machine Operator, and leadership experience.
• Ability to establish trust and credibility with employees.
• Excellent organizational skills with writing and math aptitude.
• Ability to effectively present information to management.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Speak, write, and understand English; Bilingual (Spanish/English) helpful.
