This role will be located in Solon, OH but are open to candidates based near other Nestlé HQ locations in the United States.
This position is responsible for continued development and execution of Accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and internal processes. Knowledge of FMLA and other state and local protected leaves will be required. Will be required to partner with third party administrator for review of Accommodation under ADA, upon the exhaustion of FMLA or other job protected company policies or state and local leave laws.
The position will be responsible for strategic consulting, advising and training to HR in the areas of federal, state, and local compliance under ADA as well as internal Nestle standards. Provides support to individuals with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Assists HR in conducting disability eligibility analyses, provides referrals, assists in approving reasonable accommodations. Educates HR representatives regarding support for individuals with disabilities and facilitates compliance with the ADA/ADAAA and related federal, state, and local regulations and Nestlé policies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement compliant ADAAA processes and resources ensuring Nestlé standards as well as federal and local, legal requirements are met. Manage stakeholders and change management implications. Ensure ongoing compliance, maintenance, and continuous process improvement.
  • Guide and provide counsel to HR representatives through execution of processes to support compliant practices that meet business needs. Assist in developing and execute relevant training.
  • Partner with Legal to review Accommodation requests that may be deemed a hardship to the company and assist HR representatives with next steps.
  • Drive compliance with regards to Accommodation system implementations and maintenance.
  • Ensures interactions with individuals with disabilities are recorded and analyzes effectiveness of accommodations; compiles reports and analyzes data related to accommodations, compliance, and program efficacy
  • Support onboarding new locations and businesses onto Nestlé’s Accommodation process and procedures.
  • Maintain knowledge of leave regulatory landscape with respect to Federal, state/local governing agencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 5 years HR or employment law related experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of ADA regulations, guidelines and standards as applicable to an academic and/or workplace setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of HIPAA and related Federal and State privacy laws and regulations.
  • Experience with process/project management and driving project implementations from beginning to end preferred
  • HRBP experience supporting corporate, front-line operations or field operations preferred
SKILLS:
• SAP experience preferred
  • Payroll and timekeeping experience preferred
  • Strong technical and process knowledge
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively drive change and process improvements
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams to gather input, develop solutions, influence outcomes and garner support
  • Strong expertise with the basic office software applications required: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/requests simultaneously
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and presentation skills
