Role Overview

The National Accounts Sales Manager reports directly to the VP of Sales and will be responsible for creating strategic business partnerships and driving new revenue resources for the organization. This position is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in all geographic territories throughout the US, and for the execution Sales/Marketing Plans that will meet both personal and team goals of expanding customer base in the marketing area.

They will be known for their ability to achieve customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. The National Accounts Sales Manager has a strong, demonstrated sales background and experience in business development in a B2B and/or professional services setting, particularly working with senior level decisionmakers. He/she will have a unique ability to build relationships and develop networks, along with highly developed account management skills.

The National Accounts Sales Manager will interact in a professional manner by proactively establishing and maintaining effective working team relationships with internal and external customers. This includes NEST Team Members, NEST of Florida Team Members, 20 Digits Technology team members, Independent Service Providers (ISPs), and Clients. The primary interaction points with customers will be phone calls, emails, text and instant messages.

Role Specifics

More specifically, your key job tasks will be to:

  • Achieves corporate revenue goals by developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics.
  • Generate new business opportunities (specifically Revenue/Services opportunities and IFM intro calls) and close deals.
  • Maximizes all opportunities in the taking of market share from larger competitors.
  • Make prospects calls through phone, email, etc. for new business contacts/companies.
  • Compliance to all sales activity into Hubspot.
  • Works with account teams to achieve growth/retention, customer satisfaction, and profitability targets.
  • Supports account teams in their development of productive and collaborative internal partnerships to create a comprehensive growth and service strategy for the assigned book of business.
  • Manages, develops, and cultivates relationships with constituents (producers, customers, and providers) as appropriate.
  • Partners with team members as appropriate in meetings with clients to professionally represent NEST in the marketplace and articulates how NEST products and services can contribute to business objectives.
  • Sets, communicates, implements, and monitors performance metrics with assigned team and aligns assigned performance measures with company objectives.
  • Acts as “Subject Matter Expert” (SME) in strategizing and closing major strategic accounts.
  • Works with NEST leadership to ensure a total solution selling approach which bundles both products and services into a single value proposition and selling process is followed.
  • Participates as an active member of various senior strategy teams as appropriate.
  • Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Enhances job knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies; developing and/or maintaining proficiency in the latest productivity and technical tools.
