Neshoba County General Hospital – Nursing Home is seeking an experienced leader to manage the operations of its long-term care/skilled nursing facility located on the campus of Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia, MS. A general overview of the position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Plan and direct operations of the nursing home in accordance with the owner’s policies and strategic priorities.
- Develop goals for quality care, employee recruitment and retention, and financial performance.
- Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and high standing with licensure and certification.
- Implement systems to ensure accountability of all departments.
- Ensure clinical excellence, environmental safety, and appropriate quality care.
- Achieve and maintain optimal resident and staff satisfaction.
- Implement organizational strategic initiatives.
- Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the state of Mississippi
- Strong working knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation and Mississippi Licensure Rules and Regulations
- Self-starter with the ability to perform in a challenging environment
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Minimum three years prior experience in a healthcare management position
- Three years prior experience as a licensed Nursing Home Administrator preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
