Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic work environment? Look no further! Nesco is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Storeroom Attendant.
Here's what the role entails :
Position Highlights :
- Shifts : 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday (1pm-9pm or 2pm-10pm) with paid lunch and occasional overtime.
- Weekends : Work one weekend a month (Sat-Sun, 3 : 30 PM - 3 : 30 AM) and enjoy 2 days off during the week.
- Training : Flexible 1-2 weeks on 1st shift (6am-3pm) with the possibility of adjusting hours.
- Temp to Hire : Explore the potential for a long-term career here
- Attire : Composite, alloy, or steel toe shoes are required for the interview.
About the Role : As a Storeroom Attendant, you'll play a crucial role in receiving, stocking, issuing, and maintaining inventory.
Your responsibilities will include :
- Unloading and receiving incoming products with attention to detail.
- Organizing and optimizing storage space for efficient crib management.
- Issuing products to employees and maintaining accurate records.
- Utilizing computer skills for data entry, inventory system management, and more.
Job Qualifications :
- 3 months of relevant experience or training.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and accomplish assigned tasks.
Work Environment & Physical Demands :
- Wear protective equipment as required.
- Flexibility with work shifts and occasional overtime.
- Ability to handle physical inventory and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Various physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, and climbing.
