ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Inspects production facility and personnel for cGMP and SOP compliance. Inspects work area for cleanliness, organization, possible cross contamination issues, dress code, proper equipment and utensil use, storage, etc.
Notifies proper personnel of non-compliance and follows up for correction.
Inspects warehouse facility and personnel for cGMP and SOP compliance. Notifies proper personnel of non-compliance and follows up for correction.
Inspects documentation for completion, accuracy and compliance with SOP's. These include manufacturing log books, batch sheets, weighing printouts, labels, calibration log books, among other things.
Maintains a QA log book for all daily notes and occurrences.
Inspects and releases equipment for cleanliness prior to the manufacturing of products.
Assists in employee training, including cGMP's, SOP's, HACCP, personal hygiene, dress code.
Completes additional tasks and projects as assigned by management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Minimum : High School Diploma, GED or Technical School Diploma with 3 years inspection experience in a production facility.
Preferred : College graduate with 3-5 years inspection experience with increasing responsibilities in a production facility.
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :
General Knowledge of the food manufacturing process.
Ability to work with all levels of employees in a productive manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated working knowledge of cGMP regulations.
Must be able to complete forms and write in a legible manner.
Ability to multi-task and bring tasks to completion.
Must be computer literate and able to learn how to use the company's computer system.
Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
Must be able to perform general math including percentages.
Must have good attention to detail.
