First shift - Stamping Machine Operator

The Stamping Press Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of presses and scrap unit by monitoring all steps to ensure that we are producing good quality parts at a standard rate.

Stamping Press Operators -

• set up, operate and tend machines to inspect, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal or plastic material .
• Operate machines or manually place sheetmetal against guide pins to ensure it is accurately pressed .
• Complete inspection reports, worksheets, and daily production reports
• Set up install and square dies, make all adjustments to obtain a good first part .
• Utilize measurement tools to verify and record that part is running to print

Basic Math skills are required
