Responsibilities

• The Downstream Operator is the entry level position in our Extrusion department
• As a Downstream Operator, you will utilize standard tools and measuring devices to ensure that the final product meets customer specifications and to catch any basic abnormalities
• Mainly responsible for making sure the final product is being wrapped around the reel in a even and neat manner while maintaining a check on the quality of the product
• You will collaborate with other production workers to ensure that the orders are properly wound onto reels for shipment to customers, assist line start-ups and reel changes, place the correct reel onto the reeler and prepare for start-up, operate the reeler (manual and auto mode), grind line scrap as it is produced and stack scrap

2nd shift hours are M-F, 3pm-11 : 15pm

3rd shift hours are Sun-Th, 11pm-7 : 15am

You will train on 1st shift for 2-3 weeks
