Nesco Resource is partnering with a local Law Firm in Williamsport PA. We are on the search for a detail-oriented professional with an understanding of legal terminology!

Responsibilities

• Transcribing audio recordings of legal proceedings, meetings and interviews.
• Converting handwritten notes and documents into digital text.
• Ensuring accuracy and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Manage multiple transcription project to meet tight deadlines.
• Format transcriptions according to to the legal standards and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Experience in a Legal Transcript or in a similar role.
• EXCELLENT listening and typing skills.
• Understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Work under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently or as a team.
• Strong proofreading and editing skills
• High school Diploma or equivalent, as well as additional legal training or certification is a plus.

Hours: Monday through Friday: 8:30AM-4:30PM
