Job Overview: The Business Excellence Manager in this role is a key player in driving business improvements and operational efficiencies, with a special focus on Epicor ERP and integration with other systems. This role involves analyzing current practices, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies that enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
· Epicor ERP Management: Serve as one of the primary experts on the Epicor ERP system, overseeing its implementation, customization, and ongoing optimization to meet the business's unique needs.
· Project Management: Collaborate on projects related to system implementations, upgrades, and integrations, ensuring they are completed within scope.
· Process Improvement: Utilize Epicor ERP tools to analyze and improve business processes. Identify gaps and inefficiencies and implement solutions within the ERP system to enhance productivity and accuracy. In addition Analyze existing not limited to ERP business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
· Training and Support: Train and support staff on the effective use of Epicor ERP. Assist in developing user manuals and training materials, and provide ongoing support and troubleshooting as Tier 1 and assist in training other Tiers such as Helpdesk.
· Change Management and Integration: Play a key-role in the integration of business processes into the Epicor ERP system. Manage change effectively, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum user adoption.
· Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure that data and processes within Epicor ERP comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee quality control to maintain high data integrity.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to align Epicor ERP functionalities with department-specific needs and overall business strategy and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Be a key member to lead cross-functional teams on various projects.
· Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of integrated systems, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.
· Innovation: Encourage and implement innovative solutions to business challenges, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with Epicor ERP systems, including implementation and administration.
· Proven track record in business process improvement and project management.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and training abilities.
· Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards.
· Strong background in technical and functional analysis.
· Knowledge of RESTful API and system integration principles.
· Experience in a development or IT role is highly beneficial.
Skills:
· Expertise in Epicor ERP functionalities and modules.
· Proficiency in technical and functional analysis methods.
· Strong project management and organizational skills.
· Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
· Effective change management and team collaboration skills.
· Ability to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly language.
· Ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.
Bonus:
· Analyze business requirements and processes and map them effectively to Epicor ERP capabilities.
· Assist in Development of custom solutions within Epicor ERP to meet specific business needs.
· Validate smooth data flow within the ERP system and between external systems.
· Proficiency in SQL, BPMs, BAQs, and other Epicor development tools.
