Nerds Xpress LLC is Hiring a Low Voltage Project Manager Near Southfield, MI

Nerds Xpress is seeking a dynamic and experienced Low Voltage Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in low voltage structured cabling and systems including access control, surveillance cameras, and related technologies. This individual will play a pivotal role in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring the highest quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of low voltage projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Manage project budgets and financials, including profit and loss (P&L) analysis.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment required for low voltage projects.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project goals.
  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards.
  • Utilize project management tools and software to track progress and communicate updates.
  • Conduct site assessments and collaborate with engineering teams to develop customized solutions.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of project activities and expenses.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in low voltage project management, with a focus on structured cabling, access control, and surveillance systems.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office Suite, Google Apps, and project management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 per year
