Field Adjustment Specialist

Here at NeRD our Field Adjustment Specialist is responsible for conducting roof inspections, typically in collaboration with insurance adjusters. The primary duties involve thoroughly examining the roof, capturing high-quality photos, obtaining precise measurements, and submitting the findings using an application like SiteCapture. Additionally, Field Adjustment Specialists are tasked with managing roof tarping, particularly in storm-affected areas.

Responsibilities:

• Property Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to accurately assess damages.
• Claim Investigations: Perform meticulous investigations, including on-site inspections and gathering essential documentation.
• Adjusting Report: Prepare detailed adjusting reports with findings and recommendations for prompt claim settlement.
• Property Restoration: Assist in tarping, shingle repair attempts, and other measures to mitigate damages.
• Site Capture: Utilize state-of-the-art technology to provide comprehensive documentation during assessments.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in property damage assessment or a related field, showcasing expertise and industry understanding.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with clients, insurance adjusters, and stakeholders.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in assessments and reports, contributing to fair claim settlements.
• Independence: Ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Vehicle and License: Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license, with flexibility to travel to various locations as needed.
