Busser
A busser should be able to work in a fast paced environment, we are a big and busy restaurant and expect our Bussers to always be moving around the restaurant looking for a task to do.
Your tasks will include:
- Clearing tables of all plates, glassware, garbage, napkins and menus.
- Wiping down tables, benches and chairs after the area has been cleared of all debris.
- Sweeping the floor after the area has been wiped top to bottom (tables, benches and chairs).
- Putting away clean glassware and helping bring out glassware and plates from the dish pit.
- Asking servers if they need assistance with anything, checking tables to see if you can help “pre bus” (this is when you clear a plate or two but not the whole table because the guests are still dining)
- Helping with laundry (we wash our own linens) and folding napkins
- Polishing and rolling silverware.
We require you to:
- Lift at least 40lbs.
- Wear non slip kitchen shoes
- Work with a positive attitude.
- We use trays rather than bus tubs to clear tables, we will train you on how to handle a tray.
