**Buyer - Clinical Lab Operations**

South San Francisco, CA / CLIA CLIA / Regular Full-Time NephroSant is a fast-paced diagnostic startup focused on applying the founding teams years of clinical research expertise to improve global kidney health. Our mission is to translate the deep scientific and pathological insights into best-in-class noninvasive tests to address the hidden epidemic of chronic kidney disease which affects more than 10% of the worlds adult population.

As a buyer for the Clinical Lab, you will help maintain laboratory operational excellence through full engagement with laboratory needs, including anticipating need for supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and ensuring proper storage. You will have the opportunity to work with scientists, as well as different members of leadership team, including Product Management and Operations. This positions reports to the CLIA Lab Director. **Responsibilities**

Procure, maintain, and ensure timely availability of critical reagents and lab materials in support of CLIA lab and Research and Development, utilizing industry standard inventory control practices.

Process, track and record purchase orders.

Create purchase orders and purchase requisitions based on forecasted needs and special request.

Utilize computerized inventory control system to identify, order, and track materials.

Manage vendor relationships per standard procurement industry practices.

Contact manufacturer's representatives to purchase parts, resolve technical issues or obtain general information

Assist in the development of workflow processes and procedures.

Propose continuous improvements to departmental processes and strategies.

Analyze stock levels and usage, and propose adjustments to stock levels
