Position Summary:
Packaging Engineer
Primary Accountabilities:
· To establish the stated project objectives….improve OEE, minimize waste, and reduce operator errors.
· Bridge the gap between the production team and client.
· Establish a timeline for each phase of specific projects and a completion date for the entire project.
· Ensure that all documentation is performed as necessary and authorization to proceed has been given. Write and assist in executing PD studies for the packaging area.
· Ensure all documentation for investigations has been completed to close out any projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
· Regionally accredited degree in engineering, biology, chemistry, mathematics, electronics and/or computer programming preferred
· Preferred experience and knowledge of Rommelag B/F/S machines and Bosch Packaging operations but not necessary
· Experience with scheduling production lots, maintenance, personnel training, procedure changes and coordinating activities with all departments.
· Ability to organize and coordinate Engineering, Production and Warehouse departments.
· Problem solving & root cause analysis experience
· Experience with coordinating production scheduling activities
· Computer software experience (Microsoft Word, Excel, Trackwise, PowerPoint)
· Reading, writing, communication, and organizational skills required
· The ability to manage a multitude of resources and to be accurate and current with data and information.
· The ability to take strategic objectives and accept accountability, motivate and influence others thinks globally and leverages diversity.
· The ability to create and contribute environment that values people, encourages trust, teamwork, and open communication, and provides participation, learning, feedback and recognition.

· Specific expertise, skills and knowledge within training and special projects gained through education and experience.

· A broad perspective that aligns decisions to organizational objectives and long term consequences of day-to-day activities.
· The ability to take strategic objectives and accept accountability to drive results through effective actions.
· Additional Requirements: Company issued phone and computer. Must be willing to handle calls and situations after hours and on weekends if deemed necessary.
