Job Overview
Well established, highly respected busy Nephrology Practice in the Las Vegas area is looking for a well-organized, experienced, analytical, adaptable, and team-oriented Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our medical practice. The Office Manager is responsible for managing the administrative and operational aspects of the office, ensuring smooth workflow, and delivering excellent patient care.
This position requires knowledge of healthcare system operations. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the medical office
· Manage all aspects of the clinic, including staff supervision, scheduling, and patient flow
· Implement utilization management strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity
· Oversee human resources activities such as hiring, training, and performance evaluations
· Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
· Develop expertise with EMR, lead updates on EMR changes, coordinate staff education
· Collaborate with physicians, practice administrator and staff to optimize patient care delivery
· Take initiative to improve processes, maintain and update the Policies and Procedures manual
· Manage and process payroll using outside vendor, organize fiscal documents
· Represent our practice in a professional manner and demonstrate exemplary customer service
· Ensure a professional work culture; always demonstrate respect for all
· Additional responsibilities and duties as needed and requested
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
· Proven experience in medical office management
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Knowledge of accounting principles
· Computer literacy and adept with MS Word and Excel
· Experience and proficiency with EHRs (Electronic Health Records)
· Analytical and resourceful problem-solving skills
· Excellent organizing and prioritizing skills
· Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
· Disciplined, determined and dedicated
· Capable of multi-tasking
· Exemplary customer service skills and work ethic that demonstrates leadership by example
· Positive outlook
