The Operating Room Materials Management Buyer is responsible for purchasing material, supplies, and equipment for use in the Surgery Department. The Operating Room Materials Management Buyer works closely with the Director of the Materials Management Department and the Surgery Supervisor. Also ensures that equipment and instruments are repaired.

Perform other duties as requested or assigned. May be expected to work varying hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) preferred.

LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATION:

• Current Valid Driver’s License, with no restrictions limiting driving.

EXPERIENCE:

• Knowledge of OR and supplies used
