Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Mortgage Advisor to join our team. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting clients in obtaining mortgage loans and providing them with expert advice on the mortgage process. Your role will involve analyzing financial information, assessing creditworthiness, and guiding clients through the loan application and approval process.

Responsibilities:

- Meet with clients to discuss their mortgage needs and financial goals

- Collect and analyze financial data to determine loan eligibility

- Assess creditworthiness by reviewing credit reports, income documentation, and other relevant information

- Educate clients on various mortgage options and help them choose the most suitable loan program

- Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all required documents are submitted accurately and in a timely manner

- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have throughout the loan process

- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and changes in mortgage lending practices

Skills:

- Strong understanding of basic math principles and ability to perform calculations accurately

- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and other relevant laws governing mortgage lending practices

- Strong analytical skills for assessing creditworthiness and financial data

- Ability to effectively communicate complex mortgage concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner

- Proven track record of successful loan origination
