Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education is imperative for Nemours to gain synergy and systemness in providing quality education for all clinical professions. The Joint Accreditation Program Manager will provide oversight and project management of the Joint Accreditation program. This includes leading the pre-application process including, but not limited to, development of timelines, deliverables and necessary program changes made to current clinical education policies, programming, and procedures. The Joint Accreditation Program Manager will help lead and facilitate the CME and Nursing Professional Excellence stakeholders across the enterprise to develop aligned processes that will ultimately lead to programs that meet Joint Accreditation criteria.

Once Joint Accreditation is received, the Joint Accreditation Program Manager will be responsible for oversight and management of Joint Accreditation which includes analysis of program outcomes/data to ensure compliance with standards, auditing of jointly accredited programs, annual program review, and continued regular communication with stakeholders including, but not limited to, physician and nursing education. 

The Joint Accreditation Program Manager will be responsible for management of the enterprise interprofessional education program. The interprofessional education program aligns IPE institutional quality improvement efforts and collaboratives to ensure lasting success of integrated education. This includes supervision of the IPE staff. 

This position can reside in either Jacksonville, Florida, Orlando, Florida or Wilmington, Delaware; Hybrid. 

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Joint Accreditation pre-application process which includes the development of timelines, deliverables, and necessary program changes across the enterprise.
  2. Draft Joint Accreditation application on behalf of Joint Accreditation stakeholders. This includes coordinating feedback and final submission of application. 
  3. Communicate with stakeholders regarding application status and next steps. 
  4. Independently manage and coordinate annual program data into JA-PARS. 
  5. Act as liaison for continuing education learning management system to identify gaps, issues, processes, and necessary improvements. 
  6. Conduct annual program review. This annual review will include an analysis of the 25% of IPCE requirement as set forth by Joint Accreditation. This annual review includes gathering and data and information and conducting a program-based analysis on the degree to which Nemours is meeting its CE mission. 
  7. Coordinate ongoing stakeholder communications to ensure teamwork and systemness that ensures compliance with Joint Accreditation. 
  8. Train staff on Joint Accreditation requirements on a quarterly basis. Develop curriculum for staff development based on performance gaps relating to Joint Accreditation requirements. 
  9. Supervise IPE staff and oversee IPE program and its relationship with CE mission. 
  10. Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee’s supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Masters degree in public health or healthcare administration is highly recommended. Hospital experience preferred. 
  • CHCP, PMP, IHI Basic Certificate preferred
  • Previous experience in project management, outcomes/statistical analysis, quality improvement, continuing education accreditation, and/or educational programming is required. Candidates with hospital experience are strongly considered
