- Manages the development and execution of the Plant’s Continuous Improvement Program.
- Drive a Continuous Improvement methodology through the development of strategies and best practices for the organization.
- Leads and develops others on Lean methodology and Six Sigma.
- Manages the development and sustainment of the Cellular Manufacturing process.
- Forward-looking, leading the development, deployment and management of continuous improvement capabilities and opportunities.
- Promote lean activities in support of the culture change and process improvement.
- Ensure integration of other tools and methodologies with Continuous Improvement to ensure successful delivery of various initiatives.
- Leads continuous improvement events and training exercises.
- Plan, prepare, execute, review and audit process improvement events.
- Perform other duties and projects as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or similar degree
- 5 years relevant experience
- Experience within manufacturing processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop training and train employees
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Project management
- Computer proficiency in MS windows and office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
- In-depth knowledge in working with MS Power Business Intelligence
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize, follow through and build relationships
